MDSE Receives Sustainability Fund Award

The Maryland Sustainability Engineering Local project group has been awarded $5000 by the Campus Sustainability Fund for implementation of a solar powered irrigation system of the Peace and Friendship Garden. The funds will be used to purchase materials for the project which is currently in the design phase. This project was one of several to receive support from the initial round of Sustainability Fund allocations.

The Campus Sustainability Fund provides money for sustainability initiatives on campus, and is financed entirely by dedicated student fees.
